Lucky Louise Rusher won two prizes in our Weekly Lottery! After scooping the £1,000 prize, Louise won again just three weeks later. She said:

“I was gobsmacked when I heard!” Through her work as an assistant nurse, Louise knows about the devastation that a stroke can bring to people’s lives. “It’s good to support such a worthwhile cause,” she added. “It’s not just about winning, it’s about supporting people when they need it.”

Mary Rowe from Sheerness, said:

“I couldn’t believe it when I got the call and it took some believing – I thought someone was having a joke! What a lovely surprise! A stroke is such a terrible thing to happen. My mother in law had one, and it’s still the same person there, trying so hard to communicate. That’s when we started to support the Stroke Association.”
