Thank you so much for supporting the 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK by playing our Weekly Lottery. We’ve got some great news for you! We’re giving our valued lottery players an extra chance to win a big prize in 2024 – and every year!

Our lottery is changing, to give you more chances to win. For our existing members, your regular payment of £4.34 per line will be increasing to £5 per line from 1st April 2024.

For new members signed up after 11th March (or 7th March online), your first deduction will be taken on, or after the 1st April due to Direct Debit administration processes. This will be at our increased price of £5 per line:

  • £4.34 per chance out of each payment will be assigned to your Weekly Lottery line.
  • £0.66 per chance out of each payment will be assigned to your annual Summer Superdraw line.

Your Summer Superdraw credit will also be used to top-up your Weekly Lottery credit when it drops below the amount required to cover your entries, this is to ensure you never miss a draw. To find out more on how this works, please see our FAQs below..

You will have up to 8 entries in our new Summer Superdraw each year, depending on how many months you have paid for.

Don’t worry, your current lottery numbers will stay the same, as will your membership number which can be found in the letter you will have received. The letter (letters will be sent to you in early March) also includes your new payment schedule/amount.

Why is the lottery changing?

To make sure supporters never miss a draw and have even more chances of winning a prize! Plus, as the lottery grows, it will mean more of every £1 spent on the draw will go towards rebuilding lives after stroke.

What are the prizes in the new Summer Superdraw?

  • Top prize £5,000
  • 2nd prize £50 x50
  • 3rd prize £25 x100

Since it was launched in 2017, the lottery has raised over £3,000,000 for stroke survivors and their families. Just think how much good you’re doing every time you play. THANK YOU!

Your questions answered

When is the first Summer Superdraw?

The first draw is on Friday 28 June 2024 and then every summer after that. As a valued lottery player, you’re automatically entered as long as your credit is £1 or more at the time the draw takes place.

Will my Direct Debit amount stay the same?

If you pay by Direct Debit, we are increasing the amount you pay from £4.34 a month to £5 a month. This is to ensure you always have enough credit, so you never miss a draw and also to help fund your entries into our brand new Summer Superdraw, exclusive to our valued lottery players. Your payments will continue to be collected on the same day of the month – see accompanying letter for more details. You will pay £5 for one chance, £10 for two and so on. If you don’t want to increase your direct debit you must inform us by 20 March 2024 and your membership will unfortunately be cancelled.

Will my Direct Debit payment dates change?

Your payments will still be collected on either the 1st, 8th, 15th, or the 24th of every month, £5 for one ticket, £10 for two.

If you usually pay by debit card, we will write to you to let you know when your membership is due for renewal.

If you do not want to increase your Direct Debit, you must inform us by 20 March 2024 and your membership will unfortunately be cancelled.

Do I need to do anything?

No. We’ll continue to take your direct debit payment and enter your numbers into every draw for which you have at least £1 in credit. And we’ll be paying your winnings directly into your bank account from now on.

I don’t pay by Direct Debit, what’s changing for me?

From 1 April 2024, you will only be able to pay for your lottery membership by Direct Debit, but we hope to be able to accept card payments again in the near future. Setting up a Direct Debit is really easy to do, just call us on 0370 050 1685 and we’ll be happy to help.

Can I increase my entries into the lottery?

If you’d like to add more lines (max of 10) and increase your chances of a win, it’s really easy to increase the amount you pay. Simply complete our online form, or call us on 0370 050 1685.

How do I know if I’ve won?

Every week we’ll upload the results onto our website so you can check if you’ve won. We’ll also pay any winnings directly into your bank account if you pay by Direct Debit. If you pay by cheque or debit card, we’ll automatically post out all prize-winning cheques to our lucky winners shortly after the draw.

Can I purchase additional Summer Superdraw tickets?

No, additional entries to the Summer Superdraw cannot be purchased separately.

Can I use the additional funds for Christmas Superdraw entries instead?

No. The additional funds used to pay for Summer Superdraw tickets cannot be used for Christmas Superdraw tickets instead.
